couple questions for mom's with LO's wiith MPI
« on: March 14, 2008, 00:55:44 am »
ok, so we had a drs appointment and he told us that he wanted us to try goats milk.  Has anyone ever done this?  he wanted us to try goats cheese as well.  does it usually react the same as cows milk??

also what do you use for veggie dip besides hummus?  I am trying to get B to eat more veggies especially broccolli so he will get more calcium and so I am looking for dips that dont' have milk and all I can come up with is ranch and then I draw a blank.  any ideas?

My son is allergic to dairy and we tried him with goats milk yogurt and he reacted badly to it. It was not flavoured so I know it was definately the yogurt itself that he reacted to. The proteins in goats milk are very similar to the ones in cows milk which is why many lo's still react.
