question for anyone using playtex bottles

how do you mix formula when using playtx bottles with drop ins/liners

my dd feeds better from these than dr browns but i cant figure out how you would accurately measure water etc in them

We use the nurser bottles and love them!  I just mix the formula right into the bottle and shake...never had a problem. :)

You should be able to use the oz measurements on the bottle or the liner has markings as well.

On our bottles their are two sets of measurements, I use the one that goes up to 8oz and that works with the expandable 10 oz liners.  I put the water in first and then add the formula and mix it in the bottle.

I use the Playtex drop in's but I use the liquid concentrate so I make a can at a time, sometimes two cans....I just make it in a jug then fill the bottles as I need them.  It is ok to make enough formula for a 48 hour period.

When I used powder, I did the same....I found it too much work to make one bottle at a time.

The guidelines have changed recently (in uk) that each feed needs to be made freshly with water over 70 degrees, which is a nightmare!
