how much does your 5 month old take

How many oz does your 5 month old take per bottle?

Abi has just turned 5 months and has been drinking 9oz bottles for about a month and a half now.

She has 4 bottles a day and generally finishes all but one of them.  She averages roughly 32-34oz per day.

I offer 4x8oz bottles and she usually takes 28ozs on everage

Our little guy (5.5 months) takes 4 9 oz bottles and sometimes "asks" for more!!

Thanks ladies, was just wondering what the average was.

Been having some pretty bad feeding days these past few days.  Not sure if it is her teeth that are bothering her, or if she is bored with the flow on the teat.  Have tried teething gel and pain meds and it works for a few mins but not longer.  Can't try a faster flow cause she is on the fastest flow.  Not sure what to do :-\

At 6 weeks i rememer Jake being on 4 x 8 oz bottles and sleeping right through!!! My little angel babe ;D ;D ;D ;D He stayed like this for most of his first year.

Finlay is already draining 4 oz every 3 hours ::) ::)

Not sure what advice to offer hun, maybe shes getting ready for new tastes!! :) :) :)

:o wow 4 oz every 3 hours.  Sounds like a hungry baby.

She has had some tasters of food last week, but with her being so fussy on her milk at the moment, I don't want anything to replace her milk intake KWIM?  She was also a bit sicky yesterday and the day before so have just stuck to milk until she has settled down.
