Breastfed Baby Won't Take Formula

Hi,

My son is 9mos.  He is a breastfed baby, but there was a three month period where I gave him two bottles of formula a day.  He suddenly without any warning just started rejecting it and still won't take it.  In fact, he wouldn't even take a bottle with breastmilk for a while, although that seems to have rectified itself.  I'm going to be going back to work earlier than expected and he's going to have to take a bottle but I'm not sure how to get him to do it.  I've tried 8 different formulas and he won't take any of them.

Any advice out there?  I'm kind of stressing out because I have limited time to do it and he's still too young for cow's milk.

Hiya!  Just wondering if you could try mixing the bm and the formula to get him used to the taste again gradually so for a couple of days would be say he takes 6oz bottles - so you put in 5oz Expressed Breast milk, and then 1oz formula, then every couple of days increase the amount of formula in it by 1oz and reduce the expressed milk by one oz?  Some ladies on here have found that it works very well xxxxx hugs x
