Not sure where to ask this: what is the "showing appreciation" on our tickers?

Hi, not too sure where to post this topic, but I'm just wondering about where it says "showing appreciation" on our tickers on the side of the screen.......is that some way to show people that we're happy with the advice they've given us?  And how do I use it, if so???

Yes that's right! You will see "thank you" by it and if you click on it it adds 1 to the showing appreciation number. If you look at threads you have posted on you won't see the "thank you" on your posts 'cos you can't thank yourself!

I ve been on here for nearly a year and i didnt know that!!  lol  :P

I thought it was something to do with how much ime you spend on here......which means mine should be higher if that was the case  :-[  ::)
