Finn had a feed at 8 last night and slept right through until 7.30 (Wouldnt take a dream feed)

So he fed at 7.30, fell asleep independently at 9.00 woke at 9.30.

I am now trying to get him back to sleep (Is that right?!) I am not hopeful but he looks tired.

His next feed is at 11.30....

LOL Sorry Michelle.

Im trying to get him on an EASY but am struggling due to rubbish naps.  He feeds 4 hourly so a 4 hour EASY.  Jut thought it would help to post how his day goes on here and hope that someone can show us where to go or what to do??

I got him back to sleep at 10.20 but only by rocking him in my arms, hes still asleep but Ive put him down so not sure how long he'll sleep.  His next feed is due at 11.30 so what do I do next??

So far we have

E - 7.30
A -7.30 - 9.00
S - 9.00 - 9.30 (Awake from 9.30 -10.20 - trying to re settle) 10.20 - still sleeping...

This is the best its looked so far.  The day often starts good but then we lose it due to lots of things... mainly things that disturb his sleep!!

He woke at 11.20 hungry, so fed him and he drank the lot and fell back to sleep... he's still asleep... this isnt how it is supposed to be!!!!

We now have

E - 7.30
A -7.30 - 9.00
S - 9.00 - 9.30 (Awake from 9.30 -10.20 - trying to re settle) 10.20 - 11.20

E - 11.30

S - 11.50 - still sleeping

I just cant bare to wake him as he is obviously tired.  Should I have squeezed in some A time?? I just thought, even if it was 5 minutes he would have got into a state as he was so tired then he would have be REALLY hard to settle back to sleep.

Im guessig he will wake soon and we will have some Activity time and then Eat and then Sleep!!

Its all wrong!!  :-\ :-\

hmmm have u tried to work out why naps are rubbish? how rubbish are they? consistently 45mins? tbh if he is super tired from the weekend I'd leave him to sleep and maybe start again tomorrow. Maybe he would benefit a 3.5 hr Easy?
If 4 hr EASY then wake 7.30
sleep 9.00, try to extend (shh/pat or w2s) and aim for 1.5 hrs S
