Cluster feeding a reflux baby
« on: May 26, 2008, 10:10:57 am »
Our little man is 5 weeks old and has just been diagnosed with reflux (cottage cheese spit ups, milk loss after each and every feed, wind, bloated, difficult to burp, grunts and sweats for hours after his one and only night feed and is often most distressed by what appears to be drowning vomits and pain in the early evenings). We have been following E.A.S.Y. from the Baby Whisperer book with much success (he is now sleeping well during the day) however I am wondering if the evening cluster feeds plus the dream feed are making our boy's tummy overfull and compounding the problem?
