Hello-

We are moving in a couple of weeks and I have about a weeks supply of frozen BM that I want to take with me.  My LO is 4 months old and I am so happy that I have been able to BF her this long.  Anyone ever move their milk and able to keep it completely frozen until reach destination?  We have about an 8 hour travel time from door to door and I thought about placing it in a cooler with dry ice?  We are flying - so any problems taking it through security???  Also, thought about shipping it overnight on dry-ice.  Many companies ship food that needs to stay completely frozen.  Any reason why this would not work?  Thank you so much for your replies.

Hi

When I donated my milk to a friend I transported it frozen for about 5 hours just in a cool bag with freezer cubes in it and they stayed perfectly frozen so I'm sure if you used a specialist company to ship it, it will stay frozen.

Is this any help?

thank you so much for the information.  What a wonderful thing you have done for someone - donating your breastmilk.  There should be more people in the world like you!

thanks again,
