generally speaking is a 30m nap due to lo being UT & 45m OT??

i've been extending her A time over the past few days as a result of the 45m nap monster and moving to 3.5h EASY

but just this morning the 30m nap monster has kicked in and i'm wondering whether she can actually take a bit more A time now??

Its usually the other way round - 30 mins means OT and 45 UT.  Its a good idea to reduce her next A time by say 15 mins to help catch up from a short nap.

Maybe you were going a little fast on extending her a times - I used to do about 10 mins every 3 days.

Yup, Emma is right.  Normally, that is, but sometimes a 45 minute nap can mean either OT or UT, so it gets a bit tricky.  However, given that you had been extending her A time, she likely got OT from too much too soon.

think she was definitely OT y'day as for the 1st time EVER she's napped for 1.5h this morning... must be playing catch up!

for whatever reason, i'm ecstatic... she might not to it again tomoz or for some time but just knowing she can do it for her 1st nap of the day is great.. little steps
