Thank you Alison and BLW ladies.
« on: June 03, 2008, 19:56:15 pm »
Just wanted to say a thank you to all the members who share their baby-led weaning stories and have helped to make this board a great resource.
Thank you especially Alison/ Freya'sMum for your encouragement of BLW.

Josie has had her first few meals and is loving it. BLW feels really natural and it's great to sit and watch her get stuck in (that's a roasted sweet potato 'chip' by the way).

She is gorgeous Emma!!  What a size!

I'd recognise roasted sweet potato chips anywhere!! They are a staple food in this house.  I agree with you on BLW ... I am really enjoying it.

Well, he's not been eating much the past few days....*think* he has more teeth coming, although cant see/feel any  ::) I thought i'd give him some yoghurt after he'd finished feeding himself, nice and cold, off a spoon as I didnt fancy the yoghurty mess in his hair at lunchtime....he opened wide for me, took the yoghurt, then proceeded to grab the spoon and jam it in his mouth so I had to give him more!!! I mashed up the steamed carrot stick he had been purposefully avoiding the entire meal and snook that in too  :P

This is NOT what he's supposed to like!!!  ::)

LMAO!

Callie has been the same today, hardly eating anything.  I load up two spoons with yoghurt or yoghurt/fruit mix, put them on her tray and she picks them up and eats them up.  She has been picking and choosing her foods lately too, so funny.

Can I just say that J is totally gorgeous.  Your avatar makes me grin every time I see it!

Definitely easier. She just sits there with us all (also having sweet potato). Great stuff for social skills.
Sweet potato is tasty! Angela - what about carrots, squash? Can you eat any of that stuff?
