My 6 month DD in the last couple of days has not been finishing her 5oz formula.  DD will play with the teat (size 2) when I try feeding her every 4 hours but if I feed close to 5 hours DD will finish the entire bottle.  Is it normal for a 6 month to go from every 4 hours to every 5 hours?  DD is also getting 2 meals of solids (breakfast and dinner) of 2 tablespoon oatmeal or rice cereal with 1 small jar of veggies or fruit.

Any thoughts on this?
TIA

Can you post her routine?  Any sign of teething? xxx With the routine posting, can you say how much solids she is having at each meal?

There are no signs of teething yet.

For the solids, I give her 2 tablespoons of cereal (dry) mixed with 1 small jar (2.5oz) of Beech nut baby food (veggie or fruit).  I try not to load her up with solids as I want DDr to get most of her calories from the formula.

Heres what our routine looks like (or something close to it):

7am - Eat 5oz EBM
8am - Rice Cereal 2 tablespoons
9am - 1st nap
11am - Eat 5oz EBM
1pm - 2nd nap
3pm - Eat 5oz EBM
4pm - Rice Creal 2 tablespoons
5-6pm - catnap
7pm - Eat 5oz EBM
8pm - Sleep
11pm - DF
3 or 4am - Eat 5oz EBM

I think that your lo may be filling up on solids and thus not finishing her bottle.  She is still young so milk should still be her main source of nutritient.  DS didn't eat that much until he was closer to 9 mos.  Try cutting back on the solids and see if she will take in more milk.  Most babies don't start dropping a bottle until closer to 9/10 mos.  Baby milk still has more calories than most solids when compared oz per oz.
