For several of my patients.  It's s'posed to have a wild cherry taste, but sure does not smell like it.  The 1 that could give me feedback says it tastes nasty.

Ok Thanks.  It is expensive and I don't want to put out 35$ for nothing!

I am not sure I would try it.  I found the nutritional contents in it, not sure if you saw this in your research.

Have you tried the MLO rice protein powder?

I am most likely going to order the MLO powder that you suggested Wendy, especially since your LO liked it mixed in rice milk.  I had the pro-stat suggested by a dietician but she usually uses it for adults with wound healing issues.  she did call the company for me to see if it had been tested in kids, but like you said, it does not sound all that great.  I am searching for things all the time.  I also want to look into the probiotics that you suggested on another post.  I think that would really help.  We have a follow up in 2 weeks with the GI specialist and I plan to bring up all of these issues.  I do like to go into the appt well-informed though.  Thanks for taking the time to help everyone!

Just keep in mind that for some reason, a lot of doctors are not familiar with the products out there.  I guess they never personally had to use them, their kids are older, whatever reason.  They may know about them by doing research themselves or by other patient recommendation.

Our group of Peds highly recommend probiotics, BUT none of them were away that a lot are grown on dairy.  I have to research and find this out myself.
