Would like to give formula at DF but LO refusing..any thoughts?

Hi,
I'm BFing at DF and would like to give formula so that DH can do it and so that she gets used to the taste for when I start to wean.  Any ideas on how to achieve this?  I have tried 3oz BM with 1 oz formula and she flat out refuses.  Thanks for any tips!

How long have you been trying?

Has DD taken EBM in a bottle before?  Is she used to the bottle?

Hi~
DD has taken EBM in a bottle at the DF.  We've been doing it for about 3 weeks and she started off slow to it, but now takes it like a champ.
Would say that she is semi-used to the bottle at her DF.

What formula are you using? Some formulas had different tastes.  Perhaps DD does not like the taste of it.

I think it is S-26 Gold.  She did take this FF when she was a couple of months old.  Perhaps trying a different one would help. Any suggestions?

I don't know much about the formulas in Australia.  I will ask Natasha, our other BottleFeeding mod if she can give some suggestions as she lives in Australia.

Hi,
We're using the avent bottes with 3 hole teet.  She seems to take the XBM in the bottle but not the formula.  We're only using a bottle for the DF. (we have tried S-26 formula)
Thanks for any suggestions.
