How many naps/how long for 8 month old?

I can't find my book and I forgot.  When does it switch from 2 to 1 nap?  My son is 8 months old.  :)

He is a little early to be doing the 2-1 switch generally it happens between 12-18months.
At this age you would be looking at a total of 3-3.5hrs worth of naps split over 2 naps.
