9mo switch to 5 hour easy?
« on: July 12, 2008, 03:42:42 am »
hi,
my dd is doing really, really well on her 4 hour easy right now. do i need to change to a 5 hour easy? i am so afraid to mess with her current schedule. here's what our day looks like:

E 7am breast feed (i have to wake her)
A 7:15am
E 8am solids
S 9am (2 hours)
E 11am breast feed
A 11:15
E 12pm solids
S 1pm (2 hours)
E 3pm breast feed
A 3:15pm
E 4pm solids
A 4:15
E 6:50pm (i just dropped the df and she is not giving me any problems)
S 7pm

if i don't need to switch her to a 5 hour easy yet, when should i do it? should i be looking for any signs of needing to change (shorter naps, not interested in food etc.)?

thank you!
xoxo,

No need to change if things are going well. :)

My lo didn't move to 2 naps until almost 11 months.

After the 4 hour EASY you are technically not on a real EASY anymore as you are only on two naps and feeds take place in between when needed (feeds still stay at about the 4 hour mark even when on 2 naps....I know I can't go more than 4 hours during the day with out eating LOL).

Your lo will let you know when it's time to transition.
