Breast feeding to sippy cup?
« on: July 26, 2008, 19:30:07 pm »
Hello  :)

My LO is almost 11 months and is BFing.
I am going back to work in a month  :( and I need to find a way for my LO to still take in liquids without me there.
I have tried to substitute one of his 4 daily feeds with a bottle but he just seems uninterested. I have also tried a few sippy cups and while he'll drink water easily, he pushes away breast milk or formula or at least will only take a sip here and there, not any great quantity.

Occasionally, when he was a bit younger, we have gotten him to take a bottle, (mother in law and husband).

I think daycare is probably going to be traumatic enough for the wee fella, I was hoping someone may have an idea of how I can sort out the feeds beforehand?

Thank you! :)
