Always Hungry Toddler

My two year old is a good eater, usually. But lately he has been saying he is "hungry" ALL the time, even right after a meal. Could it be that it is just an attention thing, or is he really hungry all the time. He has also been taking 3-4 hour naps everyday... that seems long to me.

Does he drink much during the day? perhapes he means he's thirsty?

he usually asks for a drink when he's thirsty... but he is only 2 and might be confused, but that might be it. I'll try and get more liquids into him and see if that makes a difference.

Does he have 2 year old molars yet??  Perhaps he is teething and the eating feels soothing??  :-\  Or maybe he is bored??  Mine eats constantly when bored but hardly at all when running around busy!
