what if she is still not asleep and it's feeding time again?

What do you do if your still trying to get her to sleep and her feeding time has rolled around again? My girl is 7 weeks old and having trouble taking day time naps. It takes me forever to get her to sleep and I'm concerned that she doesn't have enough sleep time when I'm suspose to feed her again. I'm breast feeding and she does sleep 4-6 hrs through the night...

Our EASY looks something like this:

E-12am-Dream feed (sometimes it's a little earlier)
E-5am-feed-no activity...just back to sleep
E-8am-morning feed...about 20min
A-30-40min
S-2hrs(although she might only sleep for about 1 hr...the rest is spent trying to get her down)
Y-I get something to get if I'm lucky
E-11am-2nd morning feed...about 30min
A-25-40min
S-2hrs-again may only sleep for about 1 hr or less
Y-Hardly get any me time...most is spent trying to get her to sleep
E-2pm-dinner feed...35-40min
A-30min
S-2hrs..same as above
Y-same as above
E-5pm-1st cluster feed
A-Bath
S-she hardly sleeps in the evenings...it's her fussy time?!
E-7pm-2nd cluster feed
A-diaper change 5min
S-as she didn't really sleep during the last "s"...try for 2hrs but don't usually happen
E-10pm-sml feed sometimes a dream feed-not activity after this just a diaper change
A-none...back to sleep with just a diaper change
S-usually sleeps good here..little to no problem going back down...will sleep until dream feed again...
Y-finally I can shower!
E-12 dream feed

I realize that there is not much activity in the evenings, cause she is awake for so long from 5pm fussy time start...
How can I help her sleep better during the evenings? I do watch for her tired cues...?

Any advice welcome!

I'm new to this, but the book "The Baby Whisperer Solves All Your Problems" says to get them up and feed them then try to keep them awake until their next nap.  That could be just for those of us who din't start anything until 4months old though.  I don't have her first book.  Anyone else have more info on this?

Could you expand on her times a bit more? You say she wakes at 8am, what time are you starting to put her back down?
Harry: 29 July 2003
Lydia: 28 June 2005
Sam:  28 June 2005
David: 28 June 2005 - 12 August 2005
Daniel: 19 July 2007
That's all folks!
(Well, maybe another girl if I can convince DH!)

i have her in the 3hr easy...she is up at 8am and go back down at around 9'ish. She starts to get sleepy so I know it's time to start the "put down". It usually takes about 5-10 minutes to get her to go to sleep but I have to stay with my hands on her until she gets through the REM cycle..sometimes takes 1hr +!!! If I take my hands off her arms she is sure to wake, as she still jumps and pulls her arms up to her face waking her up.

When do they stop with all the arm motion?
