No more naps

I know it still awhile yet before he will be able to go all day without a nap but I was just wondering at what age did your LO stop napping?

usually LOs go to 1 nap between 12-18 mo.  then i think it is a wide margin for dropping that nap.  tracy recommends having an afternoon nap up until 4 yo (maybe not every day, but some days or even just quiet time until that age), but i know many people whose LOs dropped it around 2.5 yrs.  maybe check over on toddler sleep board.

Just popping this over to toddler sleep, as you'll get more responses from moms with LOs who have already stopped napping.

My DD1 stopped napping altogether a month or so ago (she's over 3 now), but it took her a couple months to transition to no nap (and for me to accept it! ;) ::) )

My DD tries to drop the nap every once in a while.  We still put her down for a nap every day at 1:30.  She might go a few days with out one, then not miss one for a month.

DD started to drop her one nap at around 2.5 yo but she would stilltake a nap if I lay down with her.  As I was pregnant at the time I didn't mind napping with her.  She still slept well at night.  By 33 mos she was able to last 11 hrs without getting cranky but will occassionally take a nap.  Now I will get her to nap if she had a bad night or sick.  But on those days her bedtime is pushed back to 8:30/9 pm.  A tip I learned is to replace the word nap with rest time or quiet time and things go much more smoothly.

That is a great idea.  Emily starts telling me that she does not want to go to sleep by 12:00.  Rest time would be a nicer way to put it for her.
