Start limiting naps?
« on: November 15, 2008, 14:54:02 pm »
Okay...my 9.5 month old is doing great on our Easy. Her 1st A time is 3 hrs 30-35 min..Her 2nd one is now almost 4 hours..sometimes 3 hrs 50 min. She is taking 2- 1 hr and 15 minute naps...this make for a very long day. Should I start limiting her 2nd nap to maybe 45 min or 1 hour?

try limiting the first nap to 1 hour.  hopefully just 15 min will make a difference.  this will also make her A time after this nap a little shorter than she is currently doing and shorten up your day a little bit.  before they switch to 1 nap (not until 12-18 mo) their days may get a bit longer than 12 hours to accomadate all the A time and naps.  this is ok, it'll switch back when she's ready to go to 1 nap.  i found this age really tough!
