We are dealing with some no nap days over the course of the last couple of months. She is eating OK...has always been picky and drinks plenty of milk during the day. She started sleeping through the night around 1 years of age...possibly a little later.
About 3 months ago, she started waking in the middle of the night. She is very loud (I have a 1 year old) and crys for milk. DH and I have been giving into it, but only giving her VERY little, sometimes water is in the mix. At TIME she will even wake up a 2nd time if we don't give her enough or will call out crying if she is finished and feels she wants more. I do have to admit, that she does associate milk with sleep. We do let her have milk before bed. Anyways, we have a few things to work on...but what are some suggestions on dealing with her middle of the night wake-ups? DH feels that we should for now give into her milk request, but only give her a little. He claims when he goes down there, he just gives her a few splashes.
I just hate it that I have to get up again for Chayse....(plus 1 year old isn't conistently sleeping through the night).
Looks like I'll never get to sleep through the night.
How do you really handle something like this? If you give her a hard time, she crys and makes loud noises and it takes even longer for me to get back to bed.
