Corn Porridge, Wheaten Porridge, Buckwheat Cereal?!?!
« on: January 12, 2009, 00:04:39 am »
Seasons greetings to all!!! :)
Jus back from hols in Russia and was amazed with the great selection of breakfast cereals for babies over there. Well compared to Rice and Oat cereals available here in Ireland. Bought a good few to try for my DD.
So wanted to see if anyone has any experience, advice or warnings regarding the following:
Buckwheat Cereal
Corn Porrige
Wheaten Porrrige
Semolina Cereal
Wheat Porrige with Prunes

Thanks a Lot!!!!

No advice!  Just bought some buckwheat hoping to do a homemade porridge from it. :)

Okay, one bit of advice, I would start with the buckwheat as the others are all forms of wheat (I think, except the corn of course, lol) and wheat tends to be more highly allergenic than other grains.  Buckwheat is not at all related to wheat and is not very allergenic.
