switching BFing and solids
« on: January 12, 2009, 21:29:25 pm »
I am going to be switching Reagan to having solids first because she is only taking 1 nap sometimes and she need sto eat before she goes down.  I can't remember if I kept the mornign BF still or wdo you just start with breakfast and then nurse for snack after breakfast, lunch and then before bed.  so do I keep it how it is now and just switch the lunch and dinner ones or do I cut one of the feeds (which woudl be the morning one)

This is just me, Mel, but at 9.5 months, I would want her to still have 4 breastfeeds, 3 at the very least.

So I'd do something like . . .

BF upon waking
breakfast

Mid morning bf
lunch

Nap
bf upon waking from nap

dinner
bf before bed

Or maybe with just 3:

breakfast
bf mid morning

lunch
nap
bf upon waking

dinner

before bed bf
