hmmmm well, I have been keeping him up every day until at least 9:15.  Some nights, he makes it right through until 7am.... some nights, he makes it until 5 am and is hungry (maybe once a week) so I feed him and he sleeps until 7/7:30... and then there was last night where he was wide awake at 3:30, got him back to sleep and he was up around 6:30.  I think my new problem is too much sleep during the day.  When he does a 12 hour night, 3.5 hrs of sleep during the day seems too much... so the EW's aren't my major problem anymore... I think I need to tackle shortening his naps a bit :-)  anyone have an opinion?

It's entirely up to you.  If 1.5hrs work for you, you don't have to change anything.  But if you decide to give it a try, just increase by 10/15mins and if the nap gets shorter, you just go back to previous a time.   Only 1 nap bust.  You might be pleasantly surprised  ;)

ckovy, you might want to open your own thread, and include your routine together with your difficulties.
