Hello,
My name is Ariane, I am 33 years old, I am Brazilian and I have a four months old daughter, named Sophia. Since she was 2.5 months I am using the EASY routine with her and now she is in the 4 (four) hours routine. She is a mix of angel and textbook baby.
Nowadays she had waked up at 6:30 a.m., but today she waked up at 6:00 a.m.; I have the impression that she is increasingly waking early. She always wakes up in good humor, stays playing and talking. I start the routine at 7:00 a.m.
Generally speaking, she makes 2h of activity and other 2h of sleep, but surely some times we have some minutes of variation for more or less.
As I mentioned before, she in the EASY routine, but only now I started to follow strictly the scheme of short nap from 17:00 to 18:00, eating at 19:00 and sleeping at 19:30. Before that, she was going to sleep around 20:30 without any short snap.
The signs of fatigue are confusing, as she often yawns from the time that she wakes up; however she is always in good humor. I imagine that is time to sleep based in the clock, then I start to slow down her energy in the end of 2h of activity, but she usually starts the snap crying, what is confusing to me, I don’t know if she if is cry because she is not asleep or because she passed the time and is too late. What Do I do? I use the PU/PD, too.
In relation to the 19:30 sleep, this is really difficult, because there is no sign of sleepiness. In the first day she cried a lot, in the second it was a little bit less; are we forcing a situation where she is still without sleep
When sleeping, sometimes is difficult to her to make the REM phases transition; she awakes and then I make her sleep again. What can be done to make her pass though the REM phases without requiring my intervention?
In the night, starting at 3:300 a.m. an going till the time to wake up, she moves a lot and moan, some times also cries, but don’t wakes up. What can it be?
At last, if she slept at 8:00 a.m., but awakes at 9:20 or 9:30 a.m., should I feed her as soon as she awakes or should I wait till 10:00a.m.?
Thanks for your attention,
Ariane
