3 month old EASAS?
« on: March 25, 2009, 00:35:58 am »
My little man can only be awake for about an hour before he starts to melt down.  But, most of the time he can only sleep for about an hour.  He then wakes up for 30 minutes or so and then goes back down before his next feeding.  He's on a 3-hr feeding cycle. EBF

Thoughts?

Hi Amy  :-*

Have you tried W2S to see if you can extend his naps?

I know that 1 hour naps can also mean UT, and the fact that he is only having 30 mins A time before needing to nap again, I would think that he definitely is UT.

What temperament is he?

Have you tried extending his A time by about 10-15 mins to see if you can get a longer nap out of him?  Perhaps even if you try extending his wind down routine to see if this helps.  Try to keep the last bit of the A time as low key as possible so that he does not get too overstimulated.

The few times I've tried W2S, he wakes up completely.

Today he was EASAES.

It could be that you are not going in at the right time.  I would try a few minutes earlier, and see if that helps.

We did not acutally stir Abi, we just replugged the Pacci and that seemed to do the trick for us.

Might be worth a try.
