It could be. Only way to really find out is to try stretching the A time before one nap by about 10-15 minutes and see if you get an undisrupted nap. It could also be developmental, if he's moving around, maybe he wakes himself and then takes a bit to readjust?

Hi there

My little man is exactly the same.  He is 5 months  now and rolling all over the shop!  He wakes at 40 mins, has a shuggle and a roll and then settles himself and goes back to sleep, but sometimes it can be anything to 5 mins up to 30 by the time he has fully gone back off.

I never have to go into him and he sleeps for another hour or so on top of that (I never let him sleep over 2 hours).

To be honest I am just glad that he is not waking and crying and I have hours of pat/shush!!

Take care
Lizzie xx

Lizzy.

Your absolutly right!!!  I shouldn't complain.... I'm not really.. I am greatfull that he settles without me.  I lengthened his A time today and he woke after 30 min and was crying and wouldn't resettle.  He cat napped the rest of the day!! Arggg.   I will stop messing with a good thing.  I'm that type of mom that is never happy and everying could be a little better!! it's frustrating to have to be such a perfectionist!!

It could be that he is moving around so much?!  and it may pass. :)   Thanks
