Loooooong NW's.
« on: August 25, 2009, 07:11:02 am »
 Hi,

Just wondering what the deal is with super long NW's. DS has been waking for about 2-3 hours at night. Does it usually mean teething or something?

I know he's super tired as we are trying to settle him at nursery so naps have gone a bit yucky, but I always thought if they were OT they would generally wake in the 1st half of the night and/or have an EW.

Am I right in my thinking or could it be OT? Just asking as I was thinking of pu/pd but dont want to do it if he's teething. I cant see any teeth coming, he has 2 uppers and 2 lowers already. He just seems to want to be hugged, he will go to sleep in my arms real quick but cry when put down.

Don't really know the answer, but just want to commiserate as we had the exact same problem after I went back to work when our DD was 5.5. months old. I hate to say, but this went on for *months* before it gradually lessened. I always put it down to OT and a combination of OT / teething.

Hope you get some help from some of the other ladies here and that it gets better soon.... xx
