Egg whites

Wondering when everyone introduced egg whites to their los.  Here in Canada it is not recommended until the age of 1.
My lo will be 11 months soon.

in the UK we can introduce (whole) egg from 6 months. My lo's had scrambled egg from 7 or 8 months.

Yeah we did whole scrambled eggs from about 8-9 months.  I think if your LO hasn't shown any signs of food tolerance at this stage it should be fine.

I accidentally gave it earlier than recommended (had it backwards...thought only whites rather than only yolks were okay) DD was fine.

I did it around 11 months.  Just made sure the whole egg was well done.  But DS had never had any problems with anything so I wasn't worried about doing it a bit earlier.  HTH  :)

I had the same question! Thanks for the responses. DS has only had egg yolk so far but he has also had pasta (which obviously has eggs in it) with no problems so I was thinking of giving him the whole egg. Will try tomorrow!
