Oh- hugs to you -
My LO has had a rough couple of weeks with teething and colds.

I find that we have to go back to much 'younger' food again.  As in I have to make all his food really smooth again, no lumps, almost soup like.

I hope he feels better soon!

(((hugs))) that must be very stressful. Agree with pp, when my LO was ill I would have to go back to 'younger' foods. What does his Dr say about it?

Hi Banu

Im so sorry your LO is not well.  When DD was ill recently I had to do an dreamfeed again at 11pm for a few nights as she hardly ate or drank anything during the day but she would drink a bit when she was sleepy/asleep.  I was worried about the lack of liquid she was drinking.  Also I agree with pp's - defo had to go back to fully pureed foods for a week or so and we gave her a lot of yogurt as she could manage a bit of that.

Hope he gets better soon  :-[

When my ds had roseola a few weeks ago he absolutely refused to eat anything, but would nurse.  So I always offered him food at his usual meal times (roughly) but if he didn't eat I would bf him.  I didn't really worry about EASY when he was sick, I just bfed him on demand, and if he fell asleep I put him in his crib.  Not sure if that was the *right* thing to do, but it comforted him when he was ill so it was right for us.  It didn't take us too long to get back on track when he was better, maybe a couple of days?  I think that always offering him his meals helped.  Even if he didn't eat a bite, it kept to our usual eating routine and when he started feeling better he was eating more and nursing less frequently.
