question about 'wake to sleep'
« on: October 27, 2009, 13:35:30 pm »
can w2s be done more than once in a sleep period?

My 8.5 month old son goes to bed at 7pm and for the past few nights he's been waking at 10pm. I'm wondering if I can do w2s to get him past if he has also been waking at 5:15am and I get up at 4:45am to do w2s.

any thoughts??

Hi there, I would say it's worth a shot if the wakings are habitual now and there is no indicative reason i.e. routine tweak needed, or teething, illness, etc.

What does he do when he wakes?  Is he happy and playful or cranky?

It might be worthwhile to post on the EASY board as you may need to tweak your routine a bit.  At that age it's usually the root cause of EW or NW.
The tweaking never stops!
