i usually make all Calebs foods from home but there was a special on of 6 jars for $2 so i grabbed a couple, but the jars are soooo big, it says 250g and he would probably only eat 1/2 of it, well thats howmuch i offer him anyway, im sure he would eat more, but then i worried, am I supposed to be feeding all of it to him? why are the jars so big?

LOL  So that you'll think you need to feed him the whole thing, which will more rapidly reduce his milk intake, which will mean you need to buy even more baby food, which will increase the baby food maker's profit.  ;)  :D

Just scoop out what you would normally feed him into a separate bowl and save the jar in the fridge.  If you feed him straight from the jar you contaminate the food with saliva and then you aren't really supposed to save it to reserve.  :-*

I always wondered the same thing Jo! I thought that Dylan must have a tiny appetite or something LOL Even now, at nearly 14mo, I am hard pressed to get him to finish a jar. He will eat that much food at a sitting, but I think he just gets sick of that much of one thing ;)

BTW, you can refridgerate the jars for up to 3 days after opening, so I always wrote the date on them so I'd remember :)
