no honey at all, or just uncooked?

can i give my 7 month old honey if it is cooked in a recipe (eg, bread, etc) or is it a "no-no" totally until a year? i read the Faq's, but it doesnt mention if there is a difference?

As I understand it, it's cooked or non-cooked, so not even honey in cake or bread.

As far as I'm aware it's not recommended to give a baby under 12 months honey in ANY form. Botulism spores can only be killed by very high temperatures, far higher than you'd be cooking the honey/recipe at.

Honey is not recommended before 12 months but I think maple syrup is ok
