I generally save plastic kitchen containers for DS to play with. Tonight he brought a spice jar into the bath and had lots of fun with it. Just a McCormick flip-top plastic spice container. He spent the entire bath filling it up with water and pouring it out through the tiny holes. Such fun

Aren't the silliest things usually the best toys?? I have fond memories of cardboard boxes at Christmas! I don't know if I have flip top plastic spice container though...plus I need 2 of everything or fighting ensues.

ok, so not really free
But about $3 each isn't bad. I keep saying I need to stop buying "toys". He's so happy with a wooden spoon, a few plastic containers, and a Cheerios box

Our Cheerios box didn't last long...Spencer was teething and ate some of it!
