1 nap possible with EW?
« on: May 19, 2010, 12:21:17 pm »
We had been on 1 nap for a month and a half and thing were going well. We were getting 11.5-12hr nights and 1.5-2.5 hr naps.
normal schedule
A: 6:45
S: 11:45-1:45
S: 6:45

However, last week we flew home for some vacation (and we will be here for 3 more weeks for my sisters wedding) and things have fallen apart terribly. I know he's OT, plus he's teething and the clocks moved back on us. He is now waking sometimes between 5:15-5:30. With that early of a wake up I can't get 1 nap out of him. However, when Ido a CN the day stretches to about 13.5hrs. So, what to do....
Here is our recent schedule
A:5:15
CN :9:00-9:20 (short am long pm has NEVER worked for us, but for some reason, he's been doing it here)
S: 12-1:45ish
6:45ish (after a good nap I've been keeping his standard 5hr A time is that right?)

Help, my sister will be getting married in a week and she is going to walk down the aisle with dark sleep deprevation circles under her eyes :-[

toddler A 3/16/2009
baby B 4/20/2011

could you put him to bed at 5:30 pm?   someme kids do really well with the time zone thing, others do better if you just keep them on 'home' time and adjust around it as best you can......  i am wondering if you can give him a 12 hour day and 1 nap tailored around wake up time....
