i keep trying to change my avatar and i browse through my pictures and pic one and it just wont work. what do i do?

Do you need to resize the picture? mine are always too big!

You need to save your picture on your computer (I use photoshop) to a small size (forgotten the maximum size, offhand, sorry) - then try uploading.  In the help section of the forum there is a post about the max dimensions, etc
