Hello Ladies. My DS is 3 1/2 months and has been sleeping through the night since 5 weeks, but for the last 9 nights he has been waking 2-3 times. He sleeps in a crib in our room but with the NW I've been bringing him in bed to bf and then not puttng him back in his crib (I'm afraid of making this a habit which is why I'm coming for help!).
I don't think he's been eating less during the day and his naps are great. He's doing 3x 1.5 hr naps and one 30-45min catnap. During the last 2 weeks we've been working on extending his naps with great success. I go in at 35 minutes and help him through the jolts. Previously I was going in after he'd woken up and then fighting to get him back to sleep with shh/pat for 20-45 minutes with lots of crying and only some success.
I'm going back to work part time in a week and so while working on naps we've also been working on bottles. Could the combo of extending naps and doing lots of bottle feeding be the reason he's waking up? I don't think he's getting any less milk with the bottles of EBM since I generally try and bf after the bottles to make sure he's full. I'm so confused. He's on a 3.5-4 hr EASY.
HELP! Is this something we need to deal with before it gets out of control and he's back in our bed and waking up more and more or could he just be going through a growth spurt?
