Does all rice cereal contain MILK??

My dd is just 4.5 months old and because of her M(S?)PI we wont be doing solids until 6 months but I do have some free samples of rice cereal here at the house. I just looked at them and one has skim milk powder and one says "May Contain Milk. Not Suitable for Babies with Cow's Milk Allergy."  Both are Nestle brands. Ummmm.... is this ALL rice cereal? Or are there brands that are completely dairy-free?

You can always cook rice with filtered water and whizz it in a blender or food processor to the consistency you want (puree). Then you KNOW what's in it!

not sure what brands are available where you are but i use 'Holle' brand which is rice only, and 'rafferty's garden' which is just rice and iron.

We have Gerber DHA and probiotic rice cereal and as far as I can see there is no milk in there, but there is soy leichitin.

Superstore's President's Choice one has no milk, and I think Beechnut too. They are out there, you just have to check the labels everytime, sometimes they change ingredients on you.

There are organic ones too that have nothing but rice and minerals. I can't remember the brand name but I got it at our local health food store. :)
