Thanks Emily!

I believe our children may be twins born from different mothers..haha as they are so similar in their sleep patterns  :D
I had been having 45 minute sleeps both morning and nights so I was so utterly exhausted after a month of doing this that finally clued in to switch him to 4 hours in between feeds which suddenly helped him nap longer during the day... LO was doing 3 hours in the morning and afternoon!! Of course I was so excited to get some extra sleep that I just let him sleep away without realizing that it might affect his nighttime sleep.  So now I will try to tweak his naps in the morning and hopefully that will get rid of the nighttime 45 minute struggle. How long did it take after taking shorter naps did you notice the nighttime patter changing?
I think I will start with his morning A time and extending it like 10 minutes at a time to get him used to longer awake time and put him down at the regular hour and half for the rest of the day to ensure that he doesn't get OT..
Your support has been GREATLY appreciated! :)

Another questions Emily...

So how did you work around it when LO can't stay up for more than an hour and a half but then eats every 4 hours?

For example..LO went down for a nap at 12:30 and then woke up at 2:15 which is okay cus then he is not oversleeping but then he's not supposed to eat until 3:30 (4 hours since 11:30 when he last ate.) Do I just do A with him for an hour?  and then he will need to go right back to nap again to make sure he doesn't pass the 2 hours of A time to avoid OT?? Is that how you did it?
