How much water should my little one have now he's on 3 bottles?
« on: December 05, 2010, 21:28:06 pm »
Hi everyone,

My DS is 10 months old and is now on 3 bottles a day (21 oz). How much water should he be drinking in addition in order for him not to dehydrate? I know he will get some water from food but his fontanelle has been more dipped since dropping the extra milk so I'm concerned. Thank you.

No idea! We just offer water/ weak squash between meals now but with meals in a sippy before she turned 1. I have never found it easy to get extra liquids in them unless it's very hot so I just make sure their cups are available for them and try to get them to drink a bit through the day.

Thank you Laura for your continued support, that's what I do so will carry on the status quo.
