AWAKE AT NIGHT FOR 3/4 HRS!
« on: December 17, 2010, 10:33:11 am »
Hi guys, wondered if you could give me any advice on what is happening with my LO. He is staying awake during the night for 3 to 4 hrs just cooing to himself and i don't know what i should be doing about that. Should i just leave him or intervene??
His schedule is like so:

E 6 or 7am (Bottle & Solids
A 2hrs
S 8/9 - 10/11 (2hrs)

E 11(Bottle & Solids)
A 2hrs
S 1-2.30

E 2.45
A school run (may powernap), bathtime, bottle, bed
S 5.45 (very tired, by now)

He is normally fast asleep by 6pm, but the can wake anytime from 11pm - 3am. I get him back off to sleep with ssh/pat then he might sleep through till 6/7am if i am lucky.  I do this he is teething, red cheeks, hands in mouth, drooling alot etc.

What should i do?? please help me if you can.

Thank you Laura & baby samuel

Hi there! How old is your LO? When I was experiencing the same thing with my DS, an increase in A time literally fixed it in one day. When was the last time you did a tweak?

I agree w mamatolevi...I went through this with DD and once we lengthened A time (in my case I had to play w her naps a bit too) it helped a lot!
