michelle, i meant to ask about the feeding to sleep. how do i tackle this problem we had another wakening last night for 2 hrs (i think it might be his crawling that is bothering him as he just wakes, doesnt even cry and wonders about the cot going back and forward on his knees.) the only way he would go back to sleep is feeding.

You could stop cold turkey.....if he's not crying, I would not even go in.  If you've been feeding to sleep for awhile, it's likely already a habit.  You could try:  http://babywhispererforums.com/index.php?topic=52857.0  I've never used it, but I know loads of other moms who've had great success with it.

You can always pretend to be sleeping and see if he really needs you or not....

yeah we had a great night the night b4, last night however he was up every 2hrs. i think it may be because i put down his A time. going to put it up again today. he just cant seem to handle 3 hrs.

after having a another bad night, he woke up at 8:15, i was planning on doing 2hrs 40 A time but mistakenly counted wrong and he had 3hrs 15 A time and slept for 1 hr 15 at nap time. not sure if i should keep this time or reduce it.

now im confused, he was ready for a sleep at 2hrs 40 with his next A time and only slept for 35 mins. im finding he needs more A time in the morning and less in the afternoon but it varies day to day. i just cant seem to figure him out sometimes!

{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}  He is definitely his own little person, and that can make things difficult sometimes.  Can you go ahead and post what your current EASY is like now?  I think you may be changing his A time too often and he's not having enough time to settle in to a new routine.  It can take several days for an A time tweak to result in a change in sleeping.

How are you handling his NWs now?
Michelle

hi, ive also posted on night wakings aswell. i was beginning to think changing it to often would have an affect so ive been keeping it roughy the same. the last 2 nights b4 last were terrible he hasnt been that bad for along time, im exhausted and i will be returning to work soon which im dreading :( but last night was good though. our EASY yesterday went:

7:15 awake and b/feed
8:15 b/fast
9:45 (only 30 mins as i left my mobile in the room :(
11:15 b/feed
12:15 lunch
12:30 sleep (1hr 40)
14:10 awake
15:15 b/feed
15:45 sleep (1hr 15)
17:00 awake (i was concerned leaving him til 5 but he was really needing a sleep)
17:10 dinner
19:15 b/feed and bed (meds aswell)

that night he woke at 1 and then at 3 but for no reason then up at 6:50.
the two nights b4 it took him 20mins to settle but last night straight to sleep very settled.
