Sterilising Bottles

Hi All, My DD is 5.5 months old and i have just started weaning her.

Please could someone tell me when you would normally stop sterilising bottles.

I think in the UK we are advised to sterilise bottles til 1yo, utensils for eating etc it's not so necessary once they're scrabbling around on the floor eating dustballs ;D

thank you. i have been sterilising the feeding stuff too but didn't really understand the point as it's not sterile by the time the food gets to her mouth, but at least i know it was clean!!! ;)
