When did you start corn?

When did you start your LO on corn (in puree form, not as a finger food)? 

I read it was not recommended for babies under 12 months, b/c it is considered a relatively highly allergenic food, but I often see it in puree form in jarred Stage 2 foods (for LO's over 6 mo), so I was not sure.

My first reaction is that since it is so hard to digest, it is probably best to avoid for now.

When DS1 was a baby I took a infant nutrition class and the nutritionist who ran it said it was ok after 9mos.  He had it in one of the purees from that class, and he was fine with it.  DS2 has never had it pureed because of BLW, but he has had it for finger foods for awhile now, only in very small quantities though.
