I have been afraid to try any cruciferous (sp?) vegetable such as brocolli or cauliflower because they are so notorious for causing gas, but maybe I am wrong.
Today, I have my 6 mo peas and carrots which I had made myself (using frozen veggies then pureeing). She seemed to take that, but not without some dramatic gagging, which I am unsure was due to the texture or taste
TBH, I mix almost all veggies with a fruit, usually by serving them side by side on the spoon. However, in the course of every meal, I give her a few spoons of the veggie itself, lest she think everything she eats is supposed to be sweet.
