Wanted to try this for Alyssa's reflux as I was reading it helps with the acid in the stomach.

Any comments on it?

My DD loves Papaya, she used to have it mashed with a fork but eats big chunks of it now. She had no reaction to it and it certainly didn't make her reflux worse, so worth a try I would say.

Sounds good.  I will have to try that for my 6.5 mo.  Has anyone noticed how many nore foods seem available year round now?  It seems like just in the past 2-3 years, I can find almost anything, even these tropical fruits like papaya, anytime (and I am not in a huge city shopping at a gourmet place). It is awesome.

Just to contradict everyone - I found (so did a friend) that it caused a burn on our LOs bottoms ... someone told me that it's hard to digest even for adults.

Mind you most baby books suggest it as a first food ....
L x Having a bw break from 1 Feb 2012 - if you want to get in touch please send me a pm.  I may not be here but you are all in my thoughts xxxx (probably be back some time)
