8 month old not hungry for solids after nursing

I have read to give my LO solids an hour after I nurse. I am finding that she is not interested or hungry an hour later it seems to be better 2 hours after she nurses. Is that okay to do that or am I encouraging snacking?

I have this trouble too, particularly at breakfast, & you'd think this would be the one they'd be hungriest for!  I've started offering brakfast after 2 hours as this suits my LO much better.  Lunch & dinner are around 1.5hours after.
