I am a little desperate to resolve this! DD is 15 weeks old, she used to be a happy baby and I guess she still is sometimes. She is on the 10 th percentile for weight and always has been and my paed seemed confident that she was just petite as she is still following the same line but growing. Here is the problem when she feeds during the day she will maybe eat for 3 mins on one side and less on the left. I had heard that second babies are more efficient but I am not sure if they are that efficient! She has just started waking 3 hourly at night and last night she had a great feed each time. I have an active toddler that won't sleep during the day much these days so waking so often in the night is killing me.
I have tried feeding her in her room, blinds closed etc once she wakes and she may go for 5 mins. I have covered her etc. When ds is at kindy she is no different.
I have been trying a bottle since she was 6 weeks but so far not happening. I have tried expressed milk and tried multiple bottles and formulas.
So, does anyone have any tips on how I can improve the feeding and get more calories in to her?
Thankyou.
