my 4.5mo took a 55 minute nap this morning. i put him down to sleep after 2 hours of A time. i am thinking he may need another 10--15 min of A time for his usual 1.5/2 hour nap. would you agree? TIA.

Well the average awake time at 4 months is 1 hour and 45 min. - 2 hours and at 5 months it's 2 hours to 2 hours and 30 mins. So he could need a little more A time but make sure you do it nice and slowly so he doesn't get OT. Was that a one off or has he been doing it for every nap?

his naps are usually a hit with some misses. yesterday his a.m. nap was 2.5 hours...after just a touch over 2 hours A time (i think, i'm not 100% sure). i guess i'll have to play around.
