Two nights in a row awake around 9pm ut/OT
« on: June 13, 2011, 02:56:51 am »
Night before last she woke at 9 I gave her the rest of her night bottle and she went back asleep after a few minutes.
Last night she wasn't interested in the rest of her bottle after she woke at 9.30 but by 10.30 she was hungry and took it and eventually fell back asleep again at 11pm
Easy yesterday went
Wake 6pm
Sleep 9pm
Wake 10am
Sleep 1pm
Wake 2.20
Bed 5.45 (I pulled it back by 15 cause I thought the night before the nw might be OT related)

The day before easy went
Wake 5.20
Sleep 9
Wake 9.45 I woke her
Sleep 12.15
Wake 2pm
Sleep 6

Can you see anything that is wrong or that needs tweaked??

Amy, didn't you pop on 1 of my threads and say your LO is teething? Have you tried medicating before bed?

How does she seem during the day?  Rested?  Do you think she needs a slight A time jump after the 1st nap?  Some LOs start the 2-1 early and need tweaking at this point.  What do you think?

I stopped on Sunday but for nine days before that I was doing 45min nap at 9 and then another nap at 12.30 and bed at 6.30/7 depending on wake up this made no difference to ew's and then we started to hae nw's so
 I have stopped this now!
Today
Wake 5.20
Sleep 8.40
Wake 9.55
Sleep 1.40
Wake 3.40
Bed 7 she went out like a light
Woke though at 8 and vomited has a cold coming on!  I followed her cues for the pm nap and thought I had for the am but she is always so tired in the morning that I might have missed it!

I hope she feels better.  It sounds like she got OT from the nap switch.  I am wondering if you just needed shorter A's to bed for a bit to catch her up.  But now that she isn't well, I wouldn't mess with anything.

At this age, I wouldn't think eye rubbing is an indicator.  Does she do anything else?  My LO will pull at his ears when he is tired.

If she is OT, you may have to really shorten A times to get her caught up.

Going to write today off....she woke from her pm nap after 1 hour 20 mins crying....she cried for 45 mins then vomited....in bed for night and asleep at 5.45pm had to AP her to sleep cause she cried and cried.
She has a little sigh that she does which is a good indicator that she is ready for her nap but in the morning I find it hard to watch out for as I am always running around lol!
Ds used to pull his ear as well....easiest indicator ever!
